From the kingdom of Macedon this Alexander The Great Silver Drachm was struck around 295-275 BC. It depicts the head of young Herakles facing to the right wearing a lion's skin headdress on the obverse. On the reverse is Zeus seated and holding an eagle and a sceptre. This coin has attractive toning and is in minimum very fine condition.
