This 2007 Annual Proof Coin Set brings together 12 coins, including eight definitive UK coins from the £1 through to the 1p. Dated 2007, each coin has been struck in base metal to Proof standard. The 50p, 10p, 5p, 2p and 1p in 2007 were the last to feature designs by Christopher Ironside on the reverse, which had featured on the coins for nearly 40 years.  

This set includes four commemorative issues, including a £5 coin celebrating the diamond wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, a £2 coin celebrating the 300th anniversary of the Act of Union between England and Scotland, a £2 coin celebrating the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade in the British Empire, and a 50p coin celebrating the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Scouting movement.
