This 1758 shilling has been struck in fine silver and is in Good Very Fine condition. This was the final date of the shilling denomination that was struck during the reign of George II. The obverse features the ‘Old Head’ portrait of George II, whilst the reverse features a design of crowned cruciform shields and the year 1758.
