This 1907 Half-Sovereign has been struck in 22 carat gold and is in Fine condition. The obverse bears the coinage portrait of Edward VII designed by George William de Saulles. The reverse features Benedetto Pistrucci’s classic St George and the dragon design that has become synonymous with The Sovereign family. The Half-Sovereign was struck at the Tower Hill location of The Royal Mint and has been dated 1907.
